We made it to MN!

Well, we made it to Grand Rapids. It has been a long few months and it feels good to unpack things I haven't seen in a while. Here are a bunch of random pictures from the last month or two. We've been starting with the whole potty training thing, but are nowhere near done. Miriam has been pretty emotional about all the change in her life so things have been a little difficult with her. The transition has been hard on all three of us but we're starting to settle in now and things are slowing down a bit. We're excited to see what comes next. God knows what the plan is, and that's ok with me.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Miriam!

Miriam's birthday is the Jan 29th but since we're moving 3 days after that I didn't really think I'd feel like throwing a birthday party so close to the move. So we had her party a week early. It was so much fun! Most of her friends were able to make it and we had Sesame Street cupcakes and balloons and ice cream! I was very glad she was able to play with all her friends one last time before we leave. I think she really liked it.

We painted her nails pretty pink the night before her big party. She loves all things girly.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hi everyone. We hope your Christmas was as wonderful as ours was this year. Every year it's more and more fun with Miriam. This year she was absolutely marveled by the lights on all the houses. She wanted to get out of the car to "tut it" (touch it). When I tried to get a picture of her in her beautiful Christmas dress... this is what I got (below). She's got more attitude every day, but still has a very tender heart. She's a delight.

We were able to spend the holiday with Jason's family in Glendive. Miriam and Addison finally got some quality cousin time. They loved the dress up stuff from Grammy and Papa. Pretty Princesses!

Miriam was an angel in the church kids' play. I'm gonna try to get the video of it on the blog. It's a lot of her doing nothing set to music. Still cute... at least her mother thinks so!
