MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hi everyone. We hope your Christmas was as wonderful as ours was this year. Every year it's more and more fun with Miriam. This year she was absolutely marveled by the lights on all the houses. She wanted to get out of the car to "tut it" (touch it). When I tried to get a picture of her in her beautiful Christmas dress... this is what I got (below). She's got more attitude every day, but still has a very tender heart. She's a delight.

We were able to spend the holiday with Jason's family in Glendive. Miriam and Addison finally got some quality cousin time. They loved the dress up stuff from Grammy and Papa. Pretty Princesses!

Miriam and BFF Ali

Miriam was an angel in the church kids' play. I'm gonna try to get the video of it on the blog. It's a lot of her doing nothing set to music. Still cute... at least her mother thinks so!

Counting

Miriam can almost count to ten. Sorry, this video is a month old but she still does it about the same way... she usually starts with two and skips five completely. But we're so proud of her learning new things.

Who's that ladybug on my steps?

Ms Kay, our next door neighbor pretty much filled Miriam's bag on our first stop. And she knows what Miriam REALLY likes... she gave her a bag of grape tomatoes in addition to all the other stuff. The tomatoes were gone long before she started begging to eat the candy. Funny kid.

Our 2009 "po-tins"

Miriam has a new birth-sister!

Miriam's birthmom had another baby girl on Oct 20th. Her name is Annalise. Annalise's mom and dad said it was alright for Miriam to hold her all by herself. She LOVED it!! And she was very good with the baby.

Family Picture time!

We finally had a family picture taken! It's been so long. We purchased the copyright so it's perfectly legal for you to download and print any of these pictures.

First snows and new strollers. What fun!

It snowed! It snowed! - Oct 9, 2009

Noelle gave Miriam this fairy skirt and she just loves it. She cried when we made her take it off for bed. And then she put it back on first thing in the morning.

Miriam has been practicing to be a mommy someday and this week at a garage sale I found this dolly stroller... big hit. She's been pushing her baby around the house ever since.

What can I say? I guess my cookin' is JUST THAT GOOD!!! Hahaha. Right.

We can't get grass to grow in this patch of the lawn, but Miriam likes it that way.

VACATION!!

We went on vacation a couple weeks ago. First we went to North dakota and saw Jason's Gramma Mona. While we were there we fliped her mattress and Miriam loved that cuz she got to bask in the luxury of Grammas bedding all in a pile on the floor. Miriam LOVED LOVED LOVED Gramma's cooking! Ok, we all loved it!
After North Dakota we spent a couple days in Glendive with Jason's parents.

Having fun with Papa

Apparently she didn't want to have her picture taken with Aunt Jenny and Gramma Bade. Next we went to Nebraska for my family reunion and my Gramma's 75th birthday. It was so nice to see all my cousins, most of them I haven't seen in 10 years or more. It was so fun!

On our way to Mt Rushmore we drove through a herd of donkeys on the road. Weird.

We had to pull over for a minute to let the car-sickness subside
We had a good time at Mt Rushmore. It was really "weeeeny" (windy).
