She's here!

Bethel Grace was born on January 10th, 2014. 8lbs 10oz and 20 ish? inches long. For those who have wondered how to pronounce it, it's like "Beth-elle". We were so worried that she was going to be huge like Titus was, but she is just right. Labor and delivery were complication free. She's the first of our kids to be born without a cone-head. She has a perfectly round, big head! And dark blonde, shiny hair!

Miriam and Titus both loved the new baby like crazy from the first moment. But Eden took a little time to warm up. She was curious, but not completely sure that this was a good thing. Now she is crazy about "her baby" and is always eager to help out with "Baby Bef-ew".

Titus is a bit of a bull in a china closet, so we have to give him supervised visits to the baby, but he tries to be very gentle with her and he loves her very much. He cried when I handed her to someone who wasn't in our family. So sweet.

My parent's (Grandma and Grandpa Bade) and my little sister Grace (who Bethel is named after) came to help out. The kids really enjoyed having them here! Ok, I did too.

Baby's first picture

On Sep 6th we had our ultrasound and found out that our next little one is another girl! In the picture above you can see her hand up to her brow like she is saluting. Then she flipped all the way over so in the bottom picture you can see her chin on her chest and her feet up by her mouth. Due date is Jan 16th. As of today, Sep 16th, I am almost 23 weeks along, and have exactly 4 months to due date.

Sep 2013

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!! Wow, can she really be that old? I don't know what happened! But here we are, the first day of Kindergarten. We are home-schooling this year so this is Miriam's classroom, with all her supplies and books. Just cuz we can, we had our first day in our PJ's!

And Titus turned 1! Such a big boy. He loved his cake! And we finally got
a couple boy toys for his birthday and he LOVED that!

August 2013

In August we were able to meet G'ma and G'pa Kirschenmann in Fargo for a weekend.
It was SO much fun! We went to the zoo, the children's museum, and got to spend some
time with family that lives there. It was a great time!

The girls love to play with Lily, the little girl who lives next door to us.
